在四川省侨联的大力支持下，联盟发起单位成都纺织高等专科学校联合美国威廉玛丽学院（孔子学院）、美国弗吉尼亚州纽波特纽斯市友好协会以及联盟成员单位，于2019年10月组团赴美国开展“国之粹”中国传统民族文化展演活动，演出团成员由我校文艺特长生及国际交流合作处、服装学院、经管学院的12名师生组成，由校团委主持工作副书记朱瑶担任团长。

   此次赴美团组先后在威廉玛丽学院（孔子学院）、克里斯托夫纽波特大学、美国国际艺术节以及威廉斯堡艺术高中进行了四场展示和演出，为美国院校师生、当地民众和纽波特纽斯市的华人华侨同胞们带来了一场中国传统民族文化视听盛宴，古筝演奏、阿尔麦多声部民歌、彝族原生态唱腔、川剧长绸、变脸及中国传统服装服饰秀等独具魅力的中华艺术、独具特色的四川技艺，震惊四座，场场表演座无虚席，掌声此起彼伏。

    表演之外，我校师生还参观了威廉玛丽学院，这所三百多年的名校底蕴深厚，人文氛围浓烈，让人步行其间都仿佛受到熏陶，让人流连；与威廉玛丽学院孔子学院外方院长、威廉玛丽学院副教务长Stephen Hanson，中方院长王德亮先生，刘影女士座谈，了解了威玛孔院的运作、课程设置、汉语推广、汉文化传播等，王院长还鼓励同学们报考汉办的志愿者，鼓励大家学好英语、推广汉语，来美国留学；在克里斯托夫纽波特大学的图书馆里，同学们惊呆了，图书馆设计独特，风格突出，宛如电影场景，里面藏书丰富，让人惊叹；师生也在斯特福大学华盛顿校区短暂驻足，该学校去年与我校签订了升学合作协议，亦有一名同学到该校就读，此次也利用出访时机，到该校实地考察，为两校以后的合作增进了解，奠定基础。

     此次赴美交流弘扬了中华民族传统文化，推介了四川独特的川剧技艺，更是我校师生第一次将四川藏彝少数民族文化风俗呈现在美国人民面前，促进了中西方文化艺术的交流，加深了中美两国人民的友好往来。

With the strong support of Sichuan Federation of overseas Chinese, Chengdu Textile College, together with William Mary Institute (Confucius Institute), Friendship Association of newportnius, Virginia, and members of the alliance, organized a delegation to the United States in October 2019 to carry out the Chinese traditional culture exhibition activities. The members of the performance group were born by our school's literary and art talents. There are 12 teachers and students participated.

 

The delegation to the United States has successively held four exhibitions and performances in William Mary Institute (Confucius Institute), Christopher Newport University, American International Art Festival and Williamsburg art high school, bringing a feast of Chinese traditional national culture audio-visual for teachers and students of American colleges and universities, local people and overseas Chinese compatriots in Newport City, including guzheng performance and almedo sound The unique Chinese art and unique Sichuan art, such as folk songs, original ecological singing of Yi people, Sichuan Opera long silk, face changing and traditional Chinese clothing show, shocked four people. The performances were full of seats and applause came one after another.

 

In addition to the performance, the teachers and students of our school also visited William and Mary College, a famous school with more than 300 years of profound foundation and strong humanistic atmosphere. In the library of Christopher Newport University, students were shocked and the library design was unique Especially, the style is outstanding, just like a movie scene, which has a rich collection of books, which is amazing. Teachers and students also stop at the Washington campus of Stanford University for a short time. Last year, the University signed a cooperation agreement with our school for further study, and one of our students went to the university to study. This time, we also used the opportunity of the visit to visit the University on the spot to lay a foundation for the future cooperation between the two universities.

 

This visit to the United States promoted the traditional culture of the Chinese nation and the unique Sichuan Opera skills of Sichuan. It was the first time that our teachers and students presented the cultural customs of the Tibetan and Yi ethnic minorities in Sichuan to the American, promoted the cultural and artistic exchanges between China and the west, and deepened the friendly exchanges between the people of China and the United States.
